LCS: education

LCS believes that effective education is critical to the development of children, not just education in terms of academic or vocational achievement, but also in the wider context of socialisation and emotional well being.

LCS has its own DFE-registered, independent secondary school which provides education places to all young people placed in LCS homes (unless they are able to attend mainstream schools in the area) and also offers day places to pupils in the area who may be living elsewhere, eg, at home with parent(s) / relatives or in foster care. Read the Brewood School prospectus.
